Teec Nos Pos

Navajo Rug
Teec Nos Pos style Rug (Eye Dazzler)
Bequest from Elinor and Vincent Ostrom

Known for their visual density as well as the considerable technical skill involved in their production, the Teec Nos Pos rugs of northeastern Arizona are sometimes called ‘outline rugs’ because of the fine, brightly colored outlines that surround their various geometric decorations.  Teec Nos Pos rugs also feature wide, patterned borders and use a range of different colors to achieve their unique designs, including some blues and greens.
