Digital Library Scanning Technician


Student hourly (8 - 20 hrs/week) $7.95/hr.

Position begins immediately and is expected to continue for at least one year.

Description: Works with the digitization staff on multiple projects, including sheet music, archival collections and book materials. This work includes scanning documents and record keeping associated with each project.

Qualifications: Digitizing experience, proficiency in Photoshop, working knowledge of Excel and Word, and excellent attention to detail required. Photography or graphic arts experience, experience working with color critical materials and experience working with archival materials is preferred. Must be able to work in blocks of 2 hours or more between 8am and 5pm weekdays, no weekends.
